This also gave Rotarians the chance to explain how their Club worked for both their community and internationally donating more than £18000 in the last Rotary Year to 44 different charities, organisations and individuals. Organised by Sally Mohan this project involved several other Rotarians: John Moorhouse, Peter Long, Brian Hall and Robert Mirfield. In total this year 461 Usborne Illustrated Dictionaries were excitedly received by pupils in 10 local Primary Schools. The noise generated when asking classes to find the page featuring dinosaurs made any visit worthwhile. This was the final presentation of 60 Dictionaries4Life to enthusiastic pupils at Newlaithes Junior School, Horsforth. This has been complemented by one of the Club’s most enjoyable annual projects which has just been completed. Join in!
